About Our Firm
We have always focused exclusively on legal issues affecting families, from divorce and family law matters to wills and trusts. We will help you address and resolve issues involving child custody, visitation schedules, child support, spousal support (alimony) and the division of marital property, including the division of retirement benefits. We have considerable experience negotiating settlements in family law matters. We also offer collaborative law services as another alternative settlement process for people who wish to resolve divorce or family law matters cooperatively.
Before opening our practice, founding attorney Sharon Lieblich served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. As such, we proudly service retired and active duty military personnel. Because of our proximity to Washington, D.C., we also provide services to federal government workers, including State Department employees.
Additionally, managing partner Carolyn Grimes earned a Graduate Law Certificate in Employee Benefits Law in 2000 from Georgetown University School of Law. Her education and experience in this area helps clients protect their retirement and employee benefit rights in family law matters.
